Does my dog need a dog coat?

If your dog has very short fur or no undercoat, is very old, sick, or a small puppy, is built close to the ground, meaning it is small or has short legs, then it needs appropriate protection against cold and wet weather. There are different types of dog clothing. In addition to warming winter coats, there are also practical raincoats, which can also be used for dogs that actually do not need a dog coat.
